SFT’s first overnight field trip to Colonial Williamsburg was a big success! We explored the Revolutionary era town through a ghost tour that included some creepy stories and a few good scares! There was a witch trial that was based on documentation of a real witch trial (historically she was found innocent although most of the audience, including SFT members, thought she was guilty) and took place in the The Capitol building. On our second day we toured the Governor’s Palace, some local shops and learned how to play some 18th century games. Thanks to all the students who came and the teachers who helped out. A special thanks to Susie and Rick Leach for all their help!
